From Principal Lisa Newlyn
Dear RGMS Community,
When I interviewed to be the Principal at Robert Gray, I didn't imagine running our school through COVID and working from my home. Neither did I imagine that I would be running our school from the offices at Jackson Middle School. I am grateful to work in an engaged and caring community focused on what's most important in my work - students. I am honored to work with a group of professionals who take work as hard as they play and love the middle school life. I learn from all of you each and every day.
Seeing 190+ of you gathered together in support of our students was inspiring and humbling for me. Thank you to all of you who attended, asked questions, shared the experience with your families, gave critical feedback and sang our praises.
As a follow up, please take a look at the artifacts of our meeting. We will continue to respond with information and next steps as we move forward in the restoration process together.

If you need to pick up your student early from school, please, if at all possible, plan on doing so before 3pm when buses begin arriving. It is a very busy place after 3pm. Please park in the upper lot and walk to the main door, ring the bell and come to the office to sign out your student.

RGMS Lifetouch Yearbook 2023-24
We are all so proud of our middle schools for their resilience and all that they have been able to accomplish thus far, this year. This is definitely going to be a year we'll remember! If you'd like to help in making this happen, I am looking for assistance with the 2023-24 School yearbook. Do you have experience in making yearbooks? Are you someone who has an eye for detail? or Are you just looking for a fun way to volunteer? I need you!
If you are interested in being a yearbook editor, managing/organizing submitted photos or helping promote yearbook sales please reach out. I hope to identify 2-3 volunteers who have 10ish free hours to spare over the next 3 months. Once I identify we can divide and conquer based on interest. No prior yearbook experience needed! Reach out to Jen Zwartverwer via email at woodruff.jenn@gmail.com to volunteer or with any questions.
