Summer Reading Ideas and Resources
We have some great ideas to share with you!
The summer is a great time to read a great book!
We believe that books are mirrors, windows, and sliding glass doors. Like a mirror, a book allows us to see ourselves and our own experiences; like a window, books allow us to look through them to see other worlds; and like sliding glass doors, books allow us to walk through in imagination to other worlds. This idea originated with Rudine Sims Bishop (1990).
