Welcome, winter!
- Please make sure your children are dressed warmly at the bus stop and for recess.
- Be careful navigating parking lots and sidewalks in case of ice. Walk like a penguin!
- At this time of year, our bus routes can be slightly delayed. It takes students a little longer to board the bus, and our drivers slow down to drive for the conditions.
- If school is closed because of inclement weather, students will have an e-learning day. More information can be found at this link. Cancellation or delay messages are sent using ParentSquare and are posted on our website.
Introducing - "Did You Know?" Series

Clever little turkeys in Mrs. Novotny's class have disguised themselves before Thanksgiving. Students each wrote a paragraph to describe their not-a-turkey - we are impressed with their creativity!
Excellent work, Col. Wheeler Middle School students! Their production of The Lion King was a display of our students' talents and the familiar songs like "Circle of Life" and "I Just Can't Wait to be King" were fantastic.
