This Week & Upcoming Events:
Girls' Basketball informational meeting 🏀 will be Dec. 10th at 7:50 am.
High5 Volleyball 🏐- Dec. 13 after school. Students who are registered will go to the gym at 2:40. Parents are welcome to spectate, but please know there is limited space along the sides of the gym. As this is a tournament, timing needs to be flexible. Students can let parents know once they are finished playing.

Holiday break begins Saturday, Dec. 21. Students return to school on Monday, Jan. 6th.
Surveys on Student Cell Phone Use
Student cell phone use during school has an impact on student learning and wellbeing. CVSD is developing consistent guidelines for student cell phone use. Your input is valuable. All secondary students (grades 6-12) will receive a separate survey. Parents may fill out this quick 5-minute survey before Monday, December 16.

SMS Color Guard Returns
After a highly successful year last year, color guard is back!
There will be two Cologuard Clinics held at Selkirk on Dec. 6th and Dec. 17th from 3:00-4:30.
This club is advised by Tiffany Von Tobel. If you have questions, please email Darcy Nord at dnord@cvsd.org.
Sign up in Final Forms. As with other clubs and sports, students do need to have an ASB card purchased to participate.
Math is Cool....Seriously!
If you enjoy math, love to compete, or just want to improve your math skills, consider joining the Selkirk “Math is Cool” team…
Coaches: Mr. Northern and other special guests
Who: 6th- Graders (O.K. Fine – My favorite 7th- & 8th-graders are also welcome)
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:50-4:00pm
§ First meeting is Tuesday, December 10
§ Finishes with “Math is Cool” Championships on a “yet-to-be-determined date” in early February.

Open to the first 25 students to sign-up who have ASB Fee paid!

Selkirk Conditioning/Weight Training
Training days are M & W from 3-4 pm. No experience necessary and our advisors will oversee, train, and guide 6-8th graders through strength, agility, and conditioning drills. This is an open door activity which allows you to attend any and/or all dates.

Photography Club
A new club is starting and YOU should join! No experience necessary! Learn the basics of photography, meet new people and so much more. Please consider having your K-8th graders join us for our Holiday Mini Dance Camp!!!
Here are the details:
- December 11th (Wednesday):
- Time: 6:00–8:00 PM
- Location: RHS Gymnasium
- Check-In: Begins at 5:55 PM. Please use the main entrance.
- December 12th (Thursday):
- Time: 5:30–6:30 PM
- Location: RHS Commons
- Performance: Participants will rehearse the material and then perform during the first basketball game halftime that evening.
We encourage you to stay and enjoy the Ridgeline dancers' halftime performance during the second game! Camper and one adult will receive free admission to the game that evening! This is a holiday themed camp, so we encourage dancers to dress in holiday festive gear for camp! Dancers will be provided with a shirt. Please choose a size from the list at checkout. $50 per participant.
