Dear NBPS Families,
As we continue through this active winter season, I want to take a moment to remind everyone of the process for school cancellations and delays due to inclement weather.
Whenever possible, I will notify families the night before if a weather-related closure or delay is necessary. However, if the decision must be made in the morning, notifications will begin at 5:15 AM.
We will communicate these decisions through multiple channels, including:
- Phone calls
- Email (via our Smore platform)
- Facebook
- Local news stations: Fox 25, Channel 5, and Channel 7
In the event that a two-hour delay needs to be changed to a full school closure, I will make every effort to notify families by 6:30 AM.
Thank you for your attention to these updates, and for your continued flexibility during the winter months. I hope everyone enjoys the remainder of the break, and we look forward to welcoming our students and staff back on Monday, February 24th.
