PTA
Jog-A-Thon
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! The "Go the Distance TTES Jogathon 2025" has been launched! Starting NOW through May 16 our school is raising integral PTA dollars through our annual Jogathon - funding such things as field trips, family/literacy/BMX nights, technology - so many things! The big day will be Friday, April 11th - our entire back field will be transformed into two running tracks where each student will have the opportunity to run as many laps as possible (or just move, walk, hang out, support!). This year, we will have a new area to celebrate our students of all abilities with a less stimulating way to enjoy and support Jogathon - stay tuned for details! In the meantime, get excited for some amazing awards for our top earners in 3 categories: INDIVIDUAL (top 5), CLASS (highest earning class) and SCHOOL (if we surpass our school goal of $30,000)! Here is the fundraising platform: Go the Distance Jogathon 2025. You should have received an email to either parent (please check both!) with instructions on how to create your own fundraising webpage - please open this email and click on the link ASAP. You can upload a photo (optional) and it will have your very own link to copy and send out to anyone who wants to support you and TTES. We are asking each kiddo to raise a minimum of $40 to qualify for a fun give-away, and the more you earn the better! Awards will be announced soon! You can direct any questions to the HELP tab on the website or reach out to Faye Morgan (fayemo@gmail.com). THANK YOU to everyone for your support!
Do you think we can GO THE DISTANCE??!! Let's go, Trailblazers!

Forgotten Item at Home?
To streamline the process of handling forgotten items from home and minimize classroom disruptions, please follow our drop off procedure. Please follow these steps if your child forgets an item at home:
- Label the Item: Clearly write your child’s name and their teacher’s name on the item. A sticky note and sharpie will be provided near the drop off cubbies.
- Place the Item in the Cubbies: We have designated cubbies located in the office (pictured) for dropped-off items.
- Email the Teacher: Once the item is placed in the cubby, we ask that you please send a quick email to your child’s teacher to inform them of the drop-off. This will help the teacher keep track of the item and ensure your child is sent to the office to retrieve their item in a timely manner without interrupting instructional time.
Thank you for your help in maintaining a focused learning environment for all students!

Checking Out Early
While we understand that there are times when you may need to check your child out of school early, we would like to emphasize the importance of keeping early check-outs to a minimum. When students leave before the end of the school day, it can disrupt their learning experience and the overall classroom environment. Important information, including homework assignments and key instructional content, is often shared towards the end of the day.
We kindly ask that you plan appointments and other commitments around the school schedule whenever possible. By ensuring your child remains in school until the end of the day, you help them get the full benefit of their educational experience and maintain a more consistent learning environment for everyone.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
TTES Parking Lot Do's and Don'ts
1. Pull all the way forward! This keeps the flow of traffic moving. Our TTES staff are available to help your children exit/enter your vehicle and direct them to the gate.
2. Please remain in your vehicle when you enter the loop and use the lane closest to the curb when picking up and dropping off students. Please utilize the second lane if you wish to drive through to our parking area. There is ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING IN THE DRIVE THROUGH LOOP.
3. Please be calm and courteous while on our campus. You are setting an example for your child and a little patience will help to ensure everyone's safety.
4. Please do not encourage your children to cross unsafely or go into traffic illegally! It puts our children in danger.
5. Be sure to have your student cross the street or parking lot in the crosswalk only, whether they are with you or not.
6. Adhere to school zone speed limits at all times.
7. For the safety of our students, please do not use your cell phone when driving in our loop. Remember, using a cell phone while driving, is against the law.
8. Encourage your child to be aware and alert during pick-up so that when they see your car, they can quickly get in the vehicle and buckle up.
9. Staff members are on duty to ensure the safety of ALL students. Please know that they are following school and district guidelines during dismissal. It is essential that you are respectful of staff while in the performance of their duties and that you follow their directives.
Thank you for your courtesy and consideration as we work together to help ensure the safety of all our students, staff, and families. We appreciate you!
Use of Phones and Other Technology on Campus
Cell phones here! Apple watches there! Tech, tech is here, there, and EVERYWHERE! Although technology is readily at the fingertips of our children, please note that students may not use their devices at school for non-instructional purposes. Please remind your child that they are not to use their personal tech device to contact their parent or friends while they are at school. If they need adult support for any reason during their school day, they are to notify their teacher. We appreciate your support in reminding our students to use their tech safely and appropriately. Thank you.
Pets on Campus
We love our pups but they present a liability on our school campus. We recognize that we are a neighborhood school and many families walk their dogs to and from school. Please be sure to keep your pet leashed and remain off our property while meeting your child with a dog. We appreciate your support in helping to keep all students safe at school.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures
What are the drop-off and pick-up procedures?
DROP OFF PROCEDURES
No student entry prior to 8:40 a.m. (AM) or 10:25 a.m. (PM TK-K). Please do not drop off early as there will be no student supervision.
There is one vehicle drop-off location:
Parents will enter the parking lot on Morgan Hill Drive and drop off students at the front of the school using the middle lane. The lane closest to the curb will be coned off to prevent merging of lanes. Only use Sutter Home Street when exiting the front loop.
For students with transportation services, the bus will enter campus at the bus loop.
If students ride their bikes or scooters to school, they will park their wheels in a bike area prior to entering the campus. Helmets are required.
PICK UP PROCEDURES
Siblings may be together while they wait to be picked up. Older siblings will be asked to wait with the youngest sibling.
- There is one vehicle pick-up location:
Front of the school: Parents will enter the parking lot on Morgan Hill Drive and pick up students at the front of the school using the middle lane. The lane closest to the curb will be coned off to prevent merging of lanes. Only use Sutter Home Street when exiting the front loop.
