Bordeaux Elementary School

Dear Families,

This Friday from 6:00 - 7:30 is our annual Family Art Night. This tradition is led by Bordeaux’s own Pablo Picasso and comic book aficionado, Mr. Hill. It’s free for families to come and participate in some fun arts and craft activities just in time to decorate for the holidays. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

We would like to thank Maggie's Market and M & M Earthworks who provided meals for our families as part of our annual Food Drive. Thank you all again for the continued support.

Our Bordeaux Elementary PTSO is hosting a fundraiser on Friday, Dec. 13 and Saturday, Dec. 14. The fundraiser is called Penguin Patch Kids Holiday Shop. The dates and times are as follows:

Friday, Dec. 13 4:30-6:00 PM – BDX Library

Saturday, Dec. 14 9:30-11:30 AM – BDX Library

The Holiday Shop has items for students to buy for as low as .25 up to $13. The proceeds will go towards the PTSO General Fund.

This Wednesday is a PLC Wednesday and students will be let out at 2:00.

We are continuing to focus on reading at home. Students can earn a special sticker for turning in their reading log and be celebrated in other ways by their teachers and principals. 1st grade is building a wonderful caterpillar along the hallway. It grows every time a student reads a book at home. Providing a place and time for students to read at home is one of the best ways to support their literacy growth. Make sure to ask your student where their book bag is.

As a reminder, all after school music classes are cancelled until further notice. This includes choir, Marimba, and drums.

Two weeks left before break. As always, it’s a great week to be a Bordeaux Bulldog!
