REPORT CARDS AND STUDENT PORTALS
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Daley Middle School will issue students and parents digital report cards & progress reports starting now and moving forward via the Student Aspen Portal. This portal is a good resource and allows parents and students to access students’ grades and information remotely.
Parents are able to check a student's academics, attendance, and other information with the portal. Parents and students will log into the student portal to access progress reports and report cards by following the instructions below.
To access your child’s Aspen Student Portal, go to your web browser and type in
https://ma-lowell.myfollett.com/aspen/logon.
Ask your child for their username and password to access the portal.
Aspen Student Portal
-
The Username is your child’s 6-digit LASID number (their lunch or computer login at school).
-
Teachers will instruct students as to how to access the portal, and assist them in making a password during class time. Ask your child for their password.
- The Progress Reports and Report Cards will be posted in the “Published Reports” section as a pdf file.
If you have any questions or issues, please reach out to Sithra LePoer at 978-937-8981 extension 47052 and email: slepoer@lowell.k12.ma.us.
Sincerely,
Mr. Brendan Asquith/Principal

Spotlight of the Week
Students constructed shadow trackers to understand how people told time before clocks. In the classroom, they used flashlights to model how the sun appears to move across the sky from sunrise to sunset and how shadows move throughout the day. Outside, students use their shadow trackers and a compass to observe, measure, and note the placement of the shadow on their tracker.
These hands-on approaches helped students develop a deep understanding of both night and day and how shadows can help us tell the time of day.
The Boys Cross Country team had another incredibly competitive race Thursday evening, finishing in 2nd place overall. Several Daley runners finished in the top 20 again, marking a great achievement for the Daley School. The first to cross the finish line for the team was Jake M., who finished in 3rd place. He was followed by Darrin H. in 9th place, Benjamin M. in 16th place, and Kiano J. in 19th place.
The coaches are very proud of their performance and know they will continue to work hard.
The Girls Cross Country team came in 3rd place overall and showed some significant improvements!
Charlie F. placed 4th, beating her time from last week by 26 seconds. Lavinia F. came in 5th, improving her time by 14 seconds. Ava P. placed 15th again and beat her previous time by 8 seconds. Mia C. finished in 17th place, improving her time by 19 seconds, and Grace S. placed 20th, beating her time by 14 seconds.
We also had a standout runner, Victoria V., who did not place last week but was able to finish in 24th overall this time.
The coaches are extremely proud and are looking forward to the final regular season meet on Thursday, October 10th, at Shedd Park.
