What's going on in the Art Department at BHS?
Digital Photography students' work in the Main Lobby!
Close to 100 Digital Photography 1 students created stunning portraits in Mr. Skirvan's Andy Warhol inspired Pop Art Photography Project! Students took black and white photographs of their classmates and friends, removed the backgrounds digitally and then painted a vibrant pop art background to accompany the photographs!
Art Beyond the Classroom! Sandy Neck!
Mr. Kemp's AP Studio Art students traveled out to Sandy Neck to find artistic inspiration in our beautiful natural environment! Many of the students had never been to Sandy Neck before and all found meaning in our time exploring this dynamic Barnstable treasure! A HUGE shout out to our Sandy Neck guru guides, Anne Marie Luppino and Ryan Henry! THANK YOU!

Ms. Mueller's Fine Arts 1 class explored creating imaginative spaces using Tunnel Books!
