Greetings!

1. Thank you so much for your support of our Student Council Giving Tree!

2. McTeacher Night was a hit! Thanks to those who attended and supported Willowdale!

3. Next week is our last full week of 2024!

4. We have a PTO meeting on Tuesday, 1/7 at 5:30. I strongly encourage you to attend! This meeting will be held in the gym, as the first half of the meeting will feature a special presentation. On 1/7 at 5:30 a representative from MPS Central Office will be at Willowdale to share information about the 2025 Bond Election.

Millard Public Schools is seeking a bond to improve safety and security and to continue the ongoing renovation and maintenance schedule to keep schools efficient. The bond proposal is $158 million dollars. The bond would not increase the tax rate. I encourage all parents/guardians who are free on January 7th to attend this informational presentation in the Willowdale Gym. Q&A will follow! We will then proceed with our PTO meeting.

The PTO is a great way to meet other parents, find out about PTO sponsored events and volunteer on several event committees. By joining and/or being a volunteer, you are working with other parents and teachers/staff members, to help enrich the educational experience for all students.

Millard West Educators Rising (Education Academy) is sponsoring a Parent's Day Out on Sunday, December 15th from 1-4 pm. This fundraiser will help us attend the State Educators Rising Convention/Competition in Kearney this February. Want to do some last minute shopping or want to get lunch?
