Growth Mindset Family Night 10/17/24 5:30-6:30
Please join us for a fun family night activity, learning about your Growth Mindset! This is a classroom lesson that your students practice during school. What is a Growth Mindset? A growth mindset is the belief that through hard work and practice, anyone can gain and improve their ability to accomplish great things. A growth mindset is a necessary component of student learning. Students encounter new challenges in class and learning every day. A growth mindset is also important for families. Families encounter new challenges together every day of every month of every year. With a growth mindset, these challenges can be viewed more as a challenge to be worked through rather than an obstacle.

Safety Drill Practice
On Wednesday, each class will discuss the reverse evacuation procedure. Teachers will give detailed instructions to students on what to do in case we need to enter the building quickly from recess. All classes will practice a reverse evacuation at the end of their scheduled recess time. It's important for parents to talk to their children about how to respond in an emergency at school or in public. Throughout the school year, we will have regular fire drills, lockdown drills, and other emergency preparedness exercises to ensure everyone is well-prepared and to maintain a safe school environment.
