Dear Parents,

As we conclude this Lenten Season, this week, Holy Week, is the most sacred of all weeks during the liturgical year. It is during this week when Catholics and Christians around the world remember Christ's passion, death, and resurrection from the dead. Thursday is the commemoration of the Last Supper when Christ instituted the Eucharist....Holy Communion. Friday is Good Friday which commemorates Christ's passion and death on the cross. On Sunday, Easter Sunday, Christ rose from the dead fulfilling the Old Testament prophecies that the Son of God would be born, suffer, die and rise from the dead. Christ's resurrection ensures that our physical death will not be the end. Because Christ died for all of our sins and then rose to eternal life, we, too, can have that same assurance that physical death is NOT the end, but rather the beginning of life eternal seeing and being with God. At church on Easter Sunday Masses, we will once again hear the words Alleluia once again proclaimed.....Alleluia, Christ is risen!

Our Casino Royale event took place this past Saturday night and was our most successful casino night ever!!! I want to offer my special thanks to all our committee chairs for making this event such a fun and memorable evening!!! If you attended this event, I am sure you would chime in with me offering your thanks and appreciation. Many many thanks to all our coordinators and chairs for sharing your time and talents with us!!! You did a fabulous job!!!! Our hats are off to you!

ANTS, who provides our after school activities like tennis and yoga, is sponsoring a summer program this year. See the link for more information.

On Thursday, May 19 from 5:30 - 7:00 our faculty and staff will host a Thank You Hors D'Oeuvres and Wine Reception for YOU our valued parents. Please mark your calendars and plan on coming that evening so we can offer our formal Thank Yous to all of you for your many kind words and all your support this year! An invitation will be coming home to you after Easter. We hope to see you there!!!

A few VERY IMPORTANT things to keep in mind when ordering with Choicelunch...

After the order deadline of noon three days before delivery has passed, there are a limited number of late lunches available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once they are sold out, there isn't a way to order late. Also, late orders are no longer accepted after 9 am the day before delivery.

Lunch can be canceled as late as 9 am the day before it will be served for 100% credit.

After this point, the lunch will be sent to the school and there is no credit given.

Whooping cough, also known as pertussis, continues to threaten students in California. To help stop its spread, ALL incoming 7th graders are required by law to have proof of a whooping cough booster ('Tdap') shot. Be prepared and plan early - in spring or early summer - before the fall back-to-school rush. If your child has already received the 'Tdap' booster, please send us a copy of his/her immunization record to update your child's school file.

As you know by now, we will be offering a summer school program to students this year. We expect a great deal of interest in this program. I want our families to have first "dibs" at enrolling your child(ren). Other Catholic schools will have the option of signing up starting next week. If finances are tight at this moment, here is an option. In order to secure a spot for your child,(ren), I would JUST NEED THE REGISTRATION FORM(S) filled out and returned ASAP!!!! You could send in the summer school fee at a later date. I hope this helps. Once the classes are filled, I won't be able to get your child(ren) into their class(es).

The Archdiocesan of San Francisco is offering financial aid to elementary student families who are in need of tuition assistance for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. Interested families can log onto mytads.com for application processing. The deadline to submit applications is April 15. Late applications will not be considered. For further questions, you may call TADS at 800-477-8237.
