What a great first week! Kids were excited to be back and teachers loved seeing new faces and familiar faces.

Learning has already begun and your students have already had work to complete for their classes. Please make sure you have signed up for ParentSquare and for our Parent Portal in Ascender. This is the best way to keep up with your students' grades and stay in contact with their teachers.

Thank you all for working with us as we changed things up in the car rider line. It is getting better each day and I appreciate all of your support so our kids are safe as they exit the building.

As things pick up we will be communicating with you about games, concerts, after school activities etc.

Our Transportation department is working diligently to get buses running on time. We appreciate your patience as they work through this.

If your students' bus arrives late to school please know that we will make sure they get breakfast and they will not be counted tardy. In the afternoons students are being kept in classrooms or cafeteria until we receive word that their bus is on the way. This keeps them out of the heat and in the cooler air.

Again, thank you so much for your patience and we will continue to work with Transportation to help with getting your students home safely.

September 4th is Open House at JMS! This is a great way for you to walk in your students' shoes as you follow their schedule, meet their teachers, see some student work, and get updated on Title I.

JMS is pre-selling t-shirts this year. They are $15 each and forms are located in the front office. Order will be placed on August 23rd so hurry and order now.
