I am so excited about this upcoming school year! Welcome back to our current families and also welcome to our new Cubs! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you at Open House on Wednesday July 31, 2024.

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday July 31, 2024 from 8:30am to 11:30am. Here are some tips to help you and your child navigate this important day.

1. When you have arrived at the school, enter through the front doors. We will have staff members stationed there to help you find the correct room.
2. Go straight to your child's homeroom class. You will drop off your child's supplies, confirm transportation, and meet your child's teacher.
3. The process to sign off on all Orientation Documents has changed. Directions on how to complete this will be communicated via ParentSquare prior to Open House. Please be on the lookout for that information.

We will recognize all students who log 600 minutes of reading in their school Beanstack account at our summer reading celebration in August. Our celebration will include a trip from the GCPS Book Mobile! Students will select a book of their choice as part of their reading reward.

Woodward Mill would like to take this opportunity to thank the numerous business partners that support the students and teachers at our school. Our business partners support our school in various ways such as sponsoring after-school clubs, providing teacher appreciation gifts, donating supplies, and mentoring students.
