Dear Sawnee Families,

We are excited to welcome the 2024-2025 school year and can't wait to see everyone! If you are new to Sawnee, we will be conducting tours on July 18th. Please use this link to sign up so we can be prepared for your welcome. Your students will be receiving a special welcome from us inviting them to our annual Ice Cream Social on July 27th as well as Open House information, which is July 30th. The Ice Cream Social will be held outside and is simply a drop in to get them used the idea of school again. But, who doesn't want ice cream?

If you haven't met our PTO board yet, be sure to take time at Open House to stop by Gym 1. We have an amazing partnership and appreciate all of their hard work in helping us make Sawnee a family community. We will have House shirts on sale at Open House with PTO. You will receive more information from your child's homeroom teacher when calls are made after July 24th.

2024-2025 is going to be another great school year! We have lots of fun activities planned for both during and after the school day. Be sure you are following us on social media and our website to stay connected.

We will be hosting a tour for all of our new families on Thursday, July 18th. We will follow all FCS guidelines to allow visitors into our building. Please fill out the form below to help us prepare with appropriate number of staff to help give the guided tours. We will be touring 6-7 families at a time to keep our numbers low allowing us to spread out and ask questions. Please park in the main parking lot of our front building facing Canton Hwy. We look forward to seeing our newest Sawnee Chiefs! Welcome to the family!

PTO Board position openings- We have two openings on next year's PTO board! If you or someone you know might be willing to join the team, please take a look at our open positions and complete the interest form ASAP. We will finalize all members for next school year before the end of this school year. Please reach out with any questions you might have!

If your FCS student is new to school bus transportation, or you wish to submit changes to your student's existing verification, and/or update your contact information please submit the digital verification form using the links below. You will need your students ID number which can be located in Parent Portal, or on your new student enrollment paperwork. Please note, a verification digital form must be submitted for each individual student, you may not submit multiple students on a single digital form, so please repeat the process for each student.

The Downtown Cumming Dojo is one of our local business partners. The Dojo knows that there aren't many programs in the area that help students stay physically active and develop the skills they need to succeed. The Dojo helps kids learn discipline, focus, confidence, and respect in a fun and energetic martial arts setting. They offer classes, After School Karate, and camps!
