Some thoughts for the starting school year

Hi Everyone,

We have had a fun-filled Spirit Week. Lots of students and staff participating with our dress-up days. We have our annual pep rally tomorrow afternoon where we will play games and recognize all of our fall student-athletes. Get excited to wear your class colors tomorrow to finish up the CLASS BATTLE and see who will earn the bragging rights as the Spirit Week Winners!

The Class of 2026 will also be hosting the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 5. It's going to be a great evening filled with fun and dancing. The dance is from 7:00-9:00 and the cost of entry is $10.00

York High School is proud to announce our annual Veterans Day event, a tradition that brings our staff and students together to show appreciation and gratitude to the brave men and women who have served our country. On the morning of Friday, November 8th, we will be hosting a school-wide assembly followed by a special breakfast for the veterans who join us.

To make this event even more meaningful, we will be creating a slideshow featuring photos of the veterans in our lives. We kindly request your assistance in making this a success by sending pictures of your veterans to gcaraballo@yorkschools.org. With your help, we can create a memorable tribute to the heroes who have dedicated their lives to serving our nation.
