SJFJr NEWS
November 2024
FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK
Dear SJF Jr. Community,
With the school year well underway, students have settled into their routines and are learning a lot each day. To help them continue thriving, we encourage families to establish and maintain a consistent routine at home as well. A stable home routine supports students in being well-prepared, rested, and at their best for school.
As we continue to settle into the school routine, we're focusing on the values of kindness and supporting one another. These principles are essential in creating a positive and welcoming school climate, and we see the difference every day when students apply them. Practicing kindness and helping each other strengthens our community and makes school a better place for everyone.
Thank you for reinforcing these values at home and helping our students carry them throughout their day. Your support is invaluable in fostering a respectful and caring environment for all.
Additionally, with the changing weather, please remember to dress your children appropriately, ensuring they’re ready for all the time spent learning and/or playing outdoors.
Have a fantastic day!

HALLOWEEN - OCT. 31ST, 2024
With Halloween approaching, we’re excited to invite you to celebrate with us!
Here are a few important notes:
Halloween Dance Performance: Join us in the schoolyard at 9:15 AM to watch all our students perform a special Halloween dance! We look forward to celebrating with you.
No Shared Treats: Due to allergy concerns and individual dietary choices, please refrain from sending candies, goodies, or any food items for your child to share with their classmates.
Costume Guidelines: Students are welcome to wear costumes! For safety reasons, masks are not allowed. Props are permitted as long as they do not represent anything violent.
Thank you for helping us make this celebration safe and enjoyable for everyone. We hope to see you there!
