COVID-19 Dashboard
The District 41 COVID Dashboard is a way for the public to monitor both the number of positive covid cases reported for students and staff as well as the number of people quarantined in the district due to close contact with someone who has tested positive. The dashboard will be updated every Monday by the end of the day.

TikTok Challenge Concerns
There are a number of TikTok challenges that are being promoted on social media including monthly challenges that students are being encouraged to perform at school. In September it was damaging bathrooms in schools and the October challenge is to “Smack a Staff Member.” As you know, any act of violence is not acceptable and not tolerated at any District 41 school. If a student should hit or “smack” a staff member, the Glen Ellyn Police will be called and the student will be suspended outside of school.
We will continue to review behavior expectations with all students and, if age appropriate for your child, we encourage parents to have a discussion at home as well. We believe this is a learning opportunity and we will continue to discuss digital responsibility and safety with all students.
Thank you for your partnership as we continue to manage these issues related to social media challenges at school.

National Champion Biker Visits Churchill
Team USA member, X Games Medalist and Guinness World Record Holder Matt Wilhelm visited Churchill students this week. Mr. Wilhelm shared a powerful message for kids dealing with bullying, and how he dealt with bullying in his own life. He also told kids that the path to reaching your goals starts with a lot of hard work. Thank you Mr. Wilhelm for your message and for the amazing show! Watch a short video of Mr. Wilhelm's visit HERE
