Cabaret Night, May 21 This evening event will feature students from our performing arts program in the intimate music room with their individual and small group selections to showcase their musical abilities and interests, from songs to songwriting. It's an event to not be missed!
Internship Showcase, May 28. Join our seniors as they present their learning around the yearlong internship experience. Together with their business partner mentors as well as their families, seniors will be recognized for the work put in at their respective placements and a Future Educator Signing ceremony will be held to celebrate those students entering the teaching profession. The public viewing event is worth seeing, as our interns have learned so much across an array of businesses and fields.

Academics in Action
Dr Maguire met with students from Level Up to talk about beekeeping and the role honeybees play in making wax and honey.
They looked at pictures from the evidence of earliest beekeeping almost 10,000 years ago. They also considered the impacts to our local food supply without honeybees to pollinate fruits, vegetables, and nuts.
Students then rolled beeswax candles to take home in bags they decorated for Spring.

Attendance Matters
A few notes about spring attendance
- As the weather heats up and more drivers head to the Cape, please expect a little more traffic in the mornings and set aside some extra bridge time in the mornings.
- Please remember that students need to be in school on time to participate in after-school activities.
- If you're on a sports team or have another commitment, please don't miss after school commitments- your team and/or group is counting on you!
- You must be in school on the day of an event to participate in after school/evening/weekend events (Friday).
- Help us finish the year with strong attendance numbers. Every minute counts!

From Cotuit Center for the Arts
YESTERDAY: Annual Member, Student and Faculty Exhibition
We are thrilled to announce an exciting shift for our annual Member, Student, and Faculty Art Exhibition! For 2025, we’re moving this annual event to the spring, opening the door for more of our seasonal members to participate and share their creative voices.
This year, we invite artists to reflect on the theme “Yesterday”—a thought-provoking prompt that connects seamlessly with our concurrent May performance, Beatles Rock! This tribute to the Fab Four celebrates their influence as individuals and as a band, providing a perfect complement to the gallery’s exhibition.
All current members, students, and faculty of Cotuit Center for the Arts were invited to submit one piece of art for this inclusive exhibit. Whether they drew inspiration from personal history, cultural nostalgia, or the timeless allure of The Beatles, they created a vivid and varied exhibit centered on “Yesterday.”
Student art work is featured from Kailey Gilman, Grade 9, Caleb Keane, Grade 12, Maggie Berry, Grade 9 and Abigail Crook, Grade 10. Congratulations to our art students on your exhibit!
The exhibit runs Apr 19 — May 18, 2025.
