Bridport Community Newletter

December 15, 2024
Week 15
Hello BCS Families and Friends!
It was so amazing to see our gym filled to the brim with our community this past Wednesday at our Holiday lunch. Thank you for joining us and supporting our students. A BIG thank you goes to Ms. Kitchens and Mrs. Barrett for organizing. Events like these are truly a community effort with classes helping prepare food, and families helping serve and clean up.
As we go into our final week before break, we are focused on creating moments of joy for our students. Wednesday is a "gifts for giving" day organized by our 5th graders, and teachers have planned engaging activities for the week.
I hope everyone has a restful break and we will see you in the new year!
Best,
Jenny
Things to Know at BCS
Dress for the Weather
Please make sure your child has all outdoor gear everyday (snowpants, coat, boots, hat, gloves). It is also a good idea to pack extra socks in backpacks as our feet get wet easily this time of year!
Arrival and Dismissal
Please take care during these busy times of the day to ensure safety of students at they are getting out of cars, getting onto busses etc. If you are dropping off or picking up- stay in line until it is your turn to pull up.
We appreciate your care and attention to keep BCS safe!
A Focus on Kindness
When we return from break, we will be focused on kindness as a whole school for the month of January and Bridport will be joining hundreds of other schools in the Great Kindness Challenge January 27th-January 31st.
