This week is National Library Week - see Mr. Schafer for more information about how you can use libarary books and resources once you are done with NSCAS Testing.

Mrs. Wright - always the helpful and courtious staff person who is willing to do whatever she can for any student or staff person. She provides opportunities to her students like going to Burke for theater with her students, and has presented to staff concerning supports for students who are ESL. She truly wants what is best for all of her students, and keeps a positive attitude no matter the hardship. She leads the Outdoor Committee and helps to keep our campus looking great. Thank you Mrs. Wright for all you do!

30 Ways to Say Yay: Mr. Chipps is a bounty of knowledge at McMillan for our students, and their families. He does whatever it takes to help students and families ensure they are being responsible with attending school and find the resources they need for success. He works to keep all administrators working together to support students, and will help anyone who wants to succeed. Incentive programs like "chips with Chipps", our sign-farm, free OPS gear, and other incentives help our school environment. Thank you Mr. Chipps for all you do!

Track Good News!
This week is National Assistant Principal Appreciation Week. This week we recognize all that Mrs. Langford, Mr. Curran, Mrs. Castanos, Dr. Coffey, Mr. Chipps, Ms. Weinandt, and Mrs. Davis do for our school. Did you know? Mr. Chipps our SSL is also the rowing coach at Creighton University, and is a huge Nebraska Cornhusker fan! He also serves at several elementary schools in the area as School Support Liaison and Omaha Northwest High School!

Being safe at McMillan is job one. Do not open any door for any human to get into this building. All adults have keys and cards, and all students must enter and check into the door. Officer Aquazzino does door checks 4 x daily to ensure we are secure. Do your part, and never prop a door open.
