Let's set the scene for our wild west adventure by dressing up like a cowgirl or cowboy! Students are welcome to wear any or all of the following: plaid/flannel, jeans, bandanas, hat, boots, etc.
FAQs
- What if I don't have xyz?..........There is no pressure to put together a full-on costume if you are not in a capacity to do so. Just wear what makes you feel like a cowgirl or cowboy! If you are struggling to produce these costume elements, please do not hesitate to reach out via email to shannonc@avoneagles.org and we will figure out a solution. If you do want to go all-out with a costume, go for it! It is like spirit week dress up days at school, as much or as little as you wish.
- Should I wear my concert outfit to school?..........No, you do not need to wear your concert outfit to school. You can go home and change before the show.
Concert Day Important Logistics
Arrival-
- Use the PAC entrance, arriving 30 minutes before your student's performance time. Supervision starts 30 minutes prior to concert time, so we ask that you do not leave children unattended if you arrive early.
- Students only will report to their teacher in the vestibule area to the far right side of the PAC lobby (this will be labeled for you on concert day). Parents, please do not enter the drop off area. Students know to find their teacher upon arrival.
- Once your child is with their teacher, you are welcome to grab a program and enter the PAC to find your seat in the auditorium.
- Where should you sit to get the best view of your child? Stage layout coming soon.
Dismissal Logistics:
- Guests, please stay seated after the show and listen for specific directions on where to reunite with your student's class to ensure we all get home safely. Thank you!
- ONE guardian will report either to the stage or to the meeting hallway to retrieve your student. This will be an efficient process if one adult goes to pick up and the others go to the lobby or remain seated.
- Please remind your child to stay onstage with their teacher until you come for them.
Guests:
All are welcome! Please carpool with your guests if possible to ease traffic. See you there!
