MANDATORY Graduation Practice
May 14th, 2025 11AM at the Menard Center
Graduation practice is mandatory for all grads walking.
Check your elementary school to see if they are having a senior walk!
Tanaina will be holding our Senior Walk-Through Monday May 12th at 11 AM. Any Seniors who went to Tanaina Elementary (and Seniors who did not attend Tanaina Elementary) are welcome to come with their cap and gown and walk the hallways for Tanaina students to see where they can be in a few years.
UPCOMING EVENTS AND INFO
April 11th - Performance Auditions
Held after school in the choir room, we will be auditioning students for graduation
performances or speeches.
April 17th - Mandatory Senior Meeting during KnightTime
Held in the theater during KnightTime, we will be covering important senior
information and handing out your 11 graduation tickets. You must be present to
receive your tickets, friends may not pick up tickets for friends.
April 26th - Prom
7-11PM at the New Mat-Su Central building. Tickets on sale both lunches
April 14th-25th.
April 29th - Senior Fun Day
9:30-2PM Dave and Buster’s, cost $20. Permission slips available for pick up in
the library. Submit permission slips and money during lunch. The first 100
students to submit paperwork, money, and have no “I”s will be going.
April 30th - Senior Knight Celebration
6:30-8PM All seniors plus 2 guests. There will be a table set up for families to
exchange graduation tickets if you need more than the allotted 11 per student or
have more than your family will use.
May 7th - Step Up Step Down Assembly
May 8th - Last Day for Seniors
May 14th - Mandatory Graduation Practice
11-12:30PM @ Menard Center - It is the responsibility of students to provide
their own transportation to this event.
May 14th - Graduation Ceremony
Meet at CHS at 4PM - riding the bus to the ceremony is mandatory, but you do
NOT need to ride the bus back after the ceremony.

Jostens Announcement Orders Are In!
If you ordered graduation announcements from Jostens they have arrived and are available for pick up in the front office.
Chromebooks and Seniors
In order to keep your Chromebook after graduation, you MUST bring it to your librarian to verify the serial number of the machine you have.
Graduating seniors (including seniors graduating at semester) will no longer have access to their MSBSD Google Drives after they graduate or their employment ends. Any transfer of data should be completed prior to their separation/graduation date as an employee or as a student.Google Takeout is a data retrieval platform that allows users to import and export data from a number of Google products. Simply put, Google Takeout takes all your existing Google data and compiles it into one file, which can be downloaded later.

Senior Quotes and Yearbook & Slideshow Photos Needed!
Senior yearbook photos and quotes are due by December 15th and slideshow photos are due by January 15th, 2025
Senior slideshow submissions can be 1-4 photos. They can be any photos but must be school appropriate. At least one childhood and one senior photo are encouraged.
GRADBLAST!
Gradblast is entirely parent run - we need volunteers!
Gradblast is an important tradition that provides graduates with a fun and safe place to celebrate after the ceremony. This event is held at a local venue and has games, prizes, and food for our seniors. If you are interested in keeping this tradition going,Contact Tiffany Crowther with questions. Intent to Walk Form
If your student is not enrolled at Colony High School full time and you wish for them to walk in our graduation ceremony, you MUST complete an intent to walk form and turn that in to our registrar, Jennifer Bostick no later than March 6th, 2025. Please be aware that ceremony ticket availabilty may vary based on how many non-CHS graduates we have requesting to walk. (If requests exceed number of tickets available, preference will be given to full time CHS students.)
