Dear Mustang Family,

As we approach Thanksgiving, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for each and every one of you. Our students, parents, teachers, and community members make John Jay High School the amazing place it is. Together, we have built a supportive and thriving Mustang family, and for that, we are truly thankful.

We hope everyone has a restful and refreshing Thanksgiving break. This time is perfect for rest, reset, and reflection as we prepare for the exciting weeks ahead. December is just around the corner, and with it comes an abundance of holiday cheer! We have numerous holiday events planned on campus, and we hope you will join us to celebrate the season. We are also thrilled to welcome a new group of Mustangs to our family! To the inaugural 2025-2026 Early College High School students receiving this newsletter for the first time—welcome to the Mustang family! We are excited about the journey you’ve embarked upon and are honored you’ve chosen John Jay High School.
