The SHARK Alert
Chatham Elementary School Community Update
Sunday, May 19th
Dear SHARK families and friends,
It is an exciting time of year with final projects, field trips, celebrations, and graduations. On Wednesday, CES will be holding our second annual Fun Run. All are invited to cheer on our runners. The Fun Run takes place at the Little League Field directly across from the school. We begin at 11:00 with opening ceremonies. Our first race is 10 laps (1 mile) for our K and 1st Grade students. At the conclusion of their race, the 2nd through 4th Graders are up for a 15 lap (1.5 mile) race. There will be music and great cheer. Please make sure your student wears appropriate sneakers on Wednesday and we also recommend bringing a beach towel or blanket for our school picnic after the races are over. The Chatham Fire Department will be cooking hamburgers and hot dogs for our runners. Please see below for more information or reach out to the Main Office with any questions.
Warmly,
Dr. Kelly
