Counselor Choice April Teachers of the Month
Ms. Courtni Bartholet
Ms. Jane Foster & Ms. Bari Day
Ms. Kelly Wilson
Ms. Wilson is a true behind-the-scenes hero. If you have never popped into one of her classes, we highly recommend it! She dedicates hours of her time outside of school preparing for the incredible shows we all get to enjoy, and she does so very quietly, very privately, putting her heart into the details and never expecting anything in return. Students have commented feeling like they can "be themselves" with Ms. Wilson, sharing that she makes everyone feel important. Ms. Wilson has such a clear passion for what she does, and it is evident that her excitement pours out into her students. It was such a joy to see how happy they were for her when we surprised her with the recognition. A few students were jumping up and down! Clearly, she is loved. Thank you for bringing so much magic to FMHS, Ms. Wilson!

New 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
In May of 2023, Texas became one of 13 states who have enacted legislation to fund and implement the 988 system. In July of 2023, this became available to everyone across the US. Understanding the issues concerning suicide and mental health is an important way to take part in suicide prevention, help others in crisis and change the conversation around suicide.
