Lansing Elementary Weekly Update
Newsletter for the Lansing Elementary School Family
May 11, 2024
Dear Families,
We were busy this week with several activities and events. We continued our spring Fastbridge benchmark testing, which will allow us to see the gains our students have made this year. We also celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you to our wonderful PTA members, family members, and community members for recognizing how hard our teachers and staff work! We also had kindergarten classes walk to Angel Falls, we had field days, we had our last PTA meeting of the year, and we had our weekly late start collaboration time.
This next week, we have our kindergarten field trip to the zoo, our third grade trips to the Royals Stadium, our last group of kindergarten classes attending the walking trip to Angel Falls, our PTA skate night, our first grade trip to Kennth Bernard Park, our second grade cook out, and our third grade cook out, our late start collaboration and our third grade tour of Lansing Intermediate School.
Our Site Council is facilitating the pre-ordering of school supplies for the 24-25 school year. We will share this information soon!
