Lively Middle School

The Lively Humanities and Law Magnet for International Studies offers advanced academic programming and engaging coursework to challenge and support students. At Lively, Magnet students enroll in specialized language arts and social studies courses, where they enjoy accelerated, cross curricular, project-based learning. Lively's Dual Language Program provides students the ability to become bilingual, biliterate and bicultural through high-level cognitive instructional practice.

Eligibility

Lively Middle School is proud to have the largest Middle School Spanish Dual Language Program for sixth through eighth grade students in Austin Independent School District.

Eligible students include:

• Students who participated in AISD's K-5 Dual Language Program
• Students who have developed Spanish language skills at home
• Students who have recently moved to the United States from a Spanish-speaking country

Lively Campus tour is the first Thursday of each month from 4:00-5:00 pm. The tour is a personalized and overview of our school's history and special programs. Visitors can park on the Leland Street side of campus and check in to the front office at the blue Leland Gate.
