Exciting Gym Day: GOLFING
We had a very fun (and warm) day in P.E. this week. All classes were held outside. All elementary students were able to put their golf education to use by practicing hitting golf balls. I broke each class into 4-5 groups and they rotated being the hitter, and being ball retrievers. Each student was able to hit 5 foam balls. I saw a lot of great lift on those foam balls, even from a kindergartener! Next week will be our last week of golf, and I have enjoyed watching the students learn more about the sport.
Typing to Coding
This was our last week of practicing typing. On Monday, we will move on to practicing coding. We use an online program to teach students the basics of coding.
This week we also worked on a couple of fun contests. Be sure to check out the Elementary hallway to see Kindergarten, First, and Second grades Computer coloring contest! Third, Fourth and Fifth grade designed and created Online Safety Posters that will be displayed soon.
