Craddock's Weekly Update
For the Week of March 13, 2023
Mrs. Menta's Message
Happy Friday Craddock Families!
I hope you had a wonderful week! It was an extra busy one for Craddock with Trimester 2 going live in Gather and spring conferences! We are very appreciative of everyone who spent time meeting with their child's teacher for an evening. We value this time to sit down and celebrate all that's happening at school. It's also a time to continue working together and problem solving when things need adjusting. That partnership is crucial to figuring it all out! Thank you for being a part of it!
Please take a moment to access your child's trimester two narratives in Gather. I sent the hard copy of a letter home today to remind you of the steps. I am also asking all families to initial and send this back to us so we can collect some information on how many families are getting in and how we can continue to support our families in doing so. Thank you for taking the time to fill this out for us.
I am so thankful to PTO for helping to make Donut Days happen once again. It's a very special event and there is nothing better than inviting families into the school to do things like this. Please read below for more specifics on when the event begins and ends. Please know we are not allowing guests to walk their child to the classroom when done. Students will be gathered in the gym as guests say goodbye and leave. Volunteers will release them to class at 8:35.
I want to apologize in advance, as I have to miss the 1st grade Donut Day for certain. My mom is having surgery that morning and I will be with her ensuring all goes smoothly. If she is doing okay, I am hoping to come to school for the 2nd grade event. I hate to miss something so special for our kids and their guest, but family has to come first. Thank you so much for understanding.
Have a wonderful weekend, albeit cold and snowy! Take care and PLEASE reach out with any questions, concerns or feedback! I welcome it all!
Sincerely,
Kim Menta
