Hello Tiger Paw Families,
The themes for our social-emotional learning for the month November are Anger, Frustration, Thankfulness and Being Thankful. My Social Skills Lessons in the classrooms, I will read A Little SPOT of Anger (A Story about Managing BIG Emotions), or Angry feelings- BIG to small. In our social skills group, we will continue to talk about ways to calm our BIG emotions as well as reading , A Little SPOT of Frustration (A Story about Self-Control), A LIttle Thanksgiving SPOT, and A Little Thankful SPOT (stories about being thankful) by Diane Alber. Additional books are I Hate Everything by Sue Graves and Grumpy Monkey by Susanne Lang
