Superintendent Update
Dear Nashoba Community,
Today is an exciting day as it is the first home football game for our Nashoba Wolves!!! The opening game is always exciting and I hope you can attend to see our team take on Grafton.
With the construction project underway, I am writing with some very important updates to ensure that the students, staff, residents, and alumni that attend our games can do so safely. Please note that access to the game will only be available through the east entrance of the field, this is the entrance closest to the auditorium. The west entrance will be closed for the next three years due to construction. You can enter the parking lot from Green Road or the west entrance on Route 117. We will have staff members and police officers helping to direct parking once inside the lot. We suggest budgeting in extra time as ticket sales will take longer with only one entrance, or purchase your ticket online in advance here!
Our football games are community events that are well attended, and we want to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. To support this, school administrators and police officers will actively monitor the bleacher area and the surrounding spaces within the gated area. Please note that areas outside of the gated zone, including the pathways east and north of the visitors’ bench, will be closed as a prudent precaution. All guests attending the game should stay within the supervised area. Under no circumstances should anyone attending the game attempt to access the construction zones.
For families with middle school children who attend the games, we ask that you please help us by having a conversation about these important safety measures, and the criticality of staying within the supervised areas during the game. Your support is greatly appreciated, and will go a long way to ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone.
Go Nashoba!!!!
Peace,
Kirk Downing (He/Him)
