- Daniel Morgan Intermediate and Middle Schools: 8:25 a.m. - 3:20 p.m.
- DMIS and DMMS: All students should arrive by 8:15 a.m.
- John Handley High School: 8:25 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.

⭐ Superintendent's 2024-2025 Equity Advisory Council
Dear Parents, Families, and Community Members:
You are cordially invited to serve on the Superintendent's Equity Advisory Council by registering here.
This year, we will use an equity audit tool each meeting to deeply examine our policies, programs, and practices. Thus, we want to ensure that we have representation from all areas of our stakeholders including staff, parents, families, and community members. 🏀 WPRD Youth Basketball
Youth basketball for ages 5-13 starts soon. Registration is FREE for City of Winchester residents (22601). Register here before November 4!

John Handley High School was recognized last week as an Exemplar Performance School by the Virginia Board of Education. Handley is one of just 21 schools in the state to be recognized in the area of continuous improvement for graduation and dropout rates. 🎓

America's Field Trip engages students to celebrate America's 250th anniversary! Students in grades 3-12 are invited to share their perspective on what America means to them, allowing opportunities to travel to some of the nations most iconic historic and cultural landmarks!
Students are asked to submit writing or original artwork in response to the contest’s prompt: “What does America mean to you?”
