A Message from the Principal
Monday, August 12, is Meet the Teacher. You will receive an email from your child's homeroom teacher between 1 and 3 pm. That evening, we invite you to come to Martin to meet your teacher, sign up for PTA, and explore the after school clubs that will be set up in the gym. New students will be able to stop by the House table to draw a bead to see which house they will be at Martin! Meet the Teacher will be held:
5:30-6:15 for last names A-L
6:15-7:00 for last names M-Z
Wednesday, August 14, will be the first day of school. You are welcome to walk your child to their classroom to snap a few 1st day pics. We will have several photo ops on Main Street. Doors will open at 7:20 and our school day starts at 7:45. PTA will be hosting a Tears and Cheers event in the library until 8:00. After the first day, students will walk to their classes on their own.
Don't forget:
1. School supplies (list linked below)
2. Sneakers (which are required for participation in PE and health and encouraged daily due to recess)
3. Refillable water bottle (labeled)
4. Healthy snacks that do not require utensils
Last chance to order your Roo Fan Club shirts! You can order your shirts in your student's house colors or orange. We wear house colors on Mondays and orange on Friday.

To accommodate our growing student population and the number of buses we will have, some changes have been made to arrival and dismissal procedures.
