OLP Summer Pilot Program!
Pilot Summer Academy is a unique, faith-based summer camp designed to provide young girls with a safe, fun, and educational environment. I believe every girl deserves to feel loved, included, and empowered, and I’ve seen firsthand the growth and leadership that come from Catholic education.
We are excited to collaborate with different parochial schools in San Diego County to make this summer camp a success. We would greatly appreciate your help and support in promoting our program to families in your community.
We are hoping you’ll consider featuring Pilot Summer Academy in your weekly bulletin. I’ve included a brief blurb that provides all the key details about our program and how families can register.
Pilot Summer Academy:
Pilot Summer Academy is a STEAM-focused, multi-disciplinary summer camp for girls in grades rising 2nd–7th (those who have completed 1st through 6th grade). Our camp offers a well-rounded experience from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM daily, featuring activities in Science, Robotics, Pilot Television, Arts, Outdoor Adventure, and Dance, all hosted in OLP’s state-of-the-art facilities.
Each day, campers will engage in a faith-based devotional specifically designed for young women, addressing the challenges they face today. Additional camp activities include a camp shirt, games, crafts, special guest speakers, field trips, Friday Fun Day, and more!
Camp Dates:
Monday, June 16 – Friday, July 18, 2025 (Note: June 19 and July 4 are federal holidays)
Full 5-week session: $1,200
One-week experience: $300
Prices will rise on March 1st.
Key Details:
3 field trips around San Diego, offering hands-on learning and leadership opportunities

Camp Interns:
We are also offering an exciting opportunity for young women (rising 8th and 9th graders) to serve as camp interns, gaining valuable leadership experience while earning volunteer hours. Interns will be paired with college-aged counselors and will receive a personal letter from the Camp Director to help with future college or job applications. To apply as a camp intern, please click here.
Thank you!
Teen Volunteers in Action (TVIA)
Teen Volunteers in Action is a group for parents and sons who are dedicated to facilitating philanthropy and leadership development for teenage boys. This is a great way to have shared experiences with your boys in grades 7-12 while making a positive impact in your community. (It's also a great way to fulfill mandatory service hours 😉) There is a new member prospective meeting this Sunday (2/23). Please click this link for more information.
Our organization is dedicated to facilitating philanthropy and leadership development for our teenage sons. Through family commitment and shared experiences, we believe TVIA can help shape lives and make a positive impact in our community. We are six chapters strong across San Diego and membership includes young men in grades 7-12 and their families.
