OLVCS Updates
February 13th, 2025
Dear OLVCS Families,
The Diocese of Altoona Johnstown has created a Pilgrimage for Jubilee 2025. Each family will receive a Passport that will show all the diocesan churches and the stops for the Pilgrimage. OLV is a stop, I am sure you have noticed the tent in the back of the church. Also coming home is an Our Lady of Victory prayer card and a Calendar of Hope prayers.
On March 27th, the Northern Quadrant; OLVCS, Lock Haven Catholic and St. John’s will have a safety training required by the diocese. March 27th is now a day off for students.
Tuesday, February 18th both our Boys and Girls Basketball teams have their final home game, it is also the 8th Grade recognition. All are welcome to attend. Girls game starts at 4:00 pm, followed by the Boys at 5:00 pm. Admission is free.

MS families were sent an email in regards to uniform reminders. Below are some key elements, and attached is the policy. K -5 families, please take a moment and review both. I am requesting your assistance in ensuring our students’ general appearance is consistent with the policies we put in place to reinforce the values core to our school community. Children grow at a rapid pace, it may be time to replace slacks, skirts and/or shirts.
If purchasing new pieces of the uniform presents a financial burden, please let us know, we can help with the purchase. Please place your receipt in an envelope with your name and send it to school for reimbursement.
Thank you for joining me in the mission of raising our students with virtue and honor. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Make it a Great Day,
Samantha
