OCEAN Senior Updates
March 18, 2025
Senior Projects
All Seniors are required to complete a Senior Project as a graduation requirement. Proposals were due in October. If your Senior has not yet gotten approval for their proposal please reach out to your teacher today. Students should be completing their 30 hours of work on their senior project this Spring. All hours should be completed by May 2. Seniors will practice their project presentations in their Path to Grad Advisory class in May.
June 3 Seniors will be presenting projects in the evening at OCEAN.* Families are invited to attend presentations.
Senior Culminating Project Guidelines here.
*Students who are also enrolled at PTHS may be presenting their Senior Projects at the Senior Symposium at PTHS.
Save the Date - OCEAN Senior Celebration
Save the Date for a special celebration of OCEAN Seniors June 12, 5:30pm at the Cotton Building. This event is for OCEAN students, friends and families to celebrate together. Students are welcome to invite anyone who wishes to celebrate with them. Seniors have helped provide some input for the event which typically includes snacks and cake, and OCEAN Seniors receive their OCEAN stole to wear for the graduation ceremony.
Request Extra Graduation Tickets
As graduation on June 20th approaches, we want to ensure families have the information they need to plan for this special day. To help with seating arrangements, please complete the attached survey if you need more than the six tickets allocated to each graduate. While we will do our best to accommodate all requests, seating at Fort Worden's McCurdy Pavilion is limited. Our goal is to finalize ticket allocations by the first week of May.
This form can also be used to request accessible seating for guests who use wheelchairs or walkers. Let us know in advance so we can ensure proper accommodations.
Please click here to request additional tickets or special seating for your guests.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Lisa Anderson, landerson@ptschools.org or 360-680-5645.
Grad Night
Students who want to participate in Grad Night need to return a waiver to the OCEAN or PTHS office by May 16th.
If families would like to participate in the 2025 Grad Night planning committee please reach out to
