End-of-Year (E.O.Y.) Parent Satisfaction Survey
It's that time of year for our End-of-Year (E.O.Y.) Parent Satisfaction Survey for our full-time schools. The survey will close on March 14. Please take the time to supply your feedback to help plan for the 25-26 school year. If you have a child in more than one full-time school, we would greatly appreciate it if you could complete the survey for each school.

School-Parent Compact
The School-Parent Compact states how the parents, school staff, and students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement.
The compact should further build and develop the existing partnership between families and schools to help children achieve the state's high standards.
The School-Parent Compact is revisited, rewritten, and reviewed annually by parents and school staff.
Elementary: During the first parent-teacher phone conference call in elementary, the teacher, parent, and student should review the School-Parent Compact.
Please review the School-Parent Compacts below. The compacts are available on the school's Family Resource Center (FRC) site.
Parent and Family Engagement
Public Law Requires Title I Schools:
- Hold an annual meeting for parents to inform them of Title I law and how it supports their child's education.
- Involve parents in developing and/or writing and revising the Parent and Family Engagement Plan and School-Parent Compact.
- Provide training and workshops to build capacity with parents and staff to raise student achievement and encourage active participation of the parents in their child's education.
- Utilize a percentage of the school's Title I allocation to support a Parent and Family Engagement program. Each school's School Advisory Council (SAC) determines how Title I funds are spent.
Steps to a Successful Title I Program:
- To raise student achievement and provide effective instruction: a.) A comprehensive needs assessment is used to see what students need to meet educational standards b.) Planning takes place to best meet the needs shown in the assessment c.) Support and resources that will best meet the needs are identified d.) Ongoing reviews and evaluations are done to see if there has been improvement and make changes as needed.
- Professional development is provided to school staff.
- Ongoing parent engagement through communication, academic events, and other school activities is provided. Schools also make the PFEP plans and Title I summary available to all parents. Parents are encouraged to participate in the school and district Title I decisions.
Parent input is highly encouraged throughout the year.
Parents' Rights
- Parents have the right to request and receive timely information on the professional qualifications of their child's teacher.
- Parents should be notified if their child is assigned to be taught by a non-certified teacher for four or more weeks.
- Parents should be notified of information on their child's level of achievement in each state academic achievement assessment requested by law.
- Parents should have access to a copy of the school/district Parent and Family Engagement Plan (PFEP) and/or summary along with the School-Parent Compact.
- Parents have the right to receive school communication in a language they can understand when appropriate.
