"Learning never exhausts the mind."
-Leonardo da Vinci
Exciting changes are happening across Ware Public Schools! After just two months of training and in-class coaching for our teachers, we’re already seeing impressive results.
At SMK Elementary, 100% of teachers are now involved in the district’s academic student discourse initiative, compared to less than half last year. At Ware Middle School, over 80% of teachers are successfully using the Productive Progression™ approach to engage students in deeper learning. Ware Jr./Sr. High School has replaced traditional independent work with collaborative peer groupings, and more high school teachers are signing up for additional coaching than our other sites combined.
Stay tuned for additional information coming out next week regarding an upcoming parent training to help families support this exciting shift in instruction!
Sincerely,
Dr. Michael P. Lovato
Superintendent

Food Services
The Ware Public Schools Food Service Department provides a comfortable and encouraging environment in which nutritious and wholesome meals are offered. A well-balanced diet is essential for growing children and teenagers, so we design each meal to include all major food groups. Our meals provide the nutrients students need to focus on academics and to perform their best.
Ware Public Schools participates in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, all schools offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST to the students for the 2024-2025 school year.
Monthly menus can be found on our website at https://www.wareps.org/for_parents/food_services
