NJSLA Scores
NJSLA Scores for the 2023-2024 school year are in the Genesis portal for grades 4 and 5. The scores can be found in the Documents Section of Parent Portal.
Important Information Bus/Van Riders
If any child is being unsafe on the bus such as: hitting, yelling, cursing or interfering with the bus driver while he/she is driving will be removed from the bus.
Safety is our number one priority.
No adult can ever get on a bus/van.
If you have a concern please call the school and we will address the issue. Parents/Guardians should be at the bus/van stops to ensure that no-one is fighting or being unkind to anyone else.
School Climate Survey
We encourage all families to participate in this School Climate Survey. This information helps us to decide what types of activities and resources our school community might be interested in and benefit from. Please click on the link to complete the survey.
Clubs
Clubs have started before and after school. Please make sure you are checking notices about when and where to drop off your child for morning clubs and when to pick them up for the afternoon clubs. Children should not be dropped off in the morning before the Club Advisor comes outside to bring the students in the building.
Playground
Please be aware that John Marshall Staff members do not monitor the playground before or after school hours. Parents/Guardians should be with their children as there are no adults present.
Student Illness
If your child is feeling sick prior to the start of school please keep them home. We would hate for you to start your day and then get a phone call from the school to pick them up. If your child has a fever they must stay home and be fever free for 24 hours before they can return.
Please feel free to turn in a doctor’s note and the attendance will be marked as excused.
