Notes from the Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,


The last few weeks have been very busy. Teachers have completed I-Ready testing. These assessments help us drive instruction to better help each individual student. Classroom teachers will be sharing the results from the assessments during parent teacher conferences. Conferences are scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, October 15th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, and the afternoon of Wednesday, October 16th from 12:45pm to 3:45pm. Your child’s classroom teacher will be sending out more information regarding conferences.


On Friday, October 11, Patterson will continue the tradition of taking part in the annual homecoming parade. We invite you to wear your Holly colors and join us for the parade. You are welcome to meet us at the VFW hall on Airport Rd. at 4:30. The parade ends at Holly Elementary. Parents must accompany their children walking in the parade.

Volunteer Background Forms
You will need to provide a copy of your driver's license. This form is used for anyone wanting to volunteer in a class or to chaperone a field trip. Please allow four weeks to process. This must be completed every school year.

Popcorn Fridays

Whiz Bang Popcorn is available each Friday. Popcorn will be sold for $ .50 per bag. Your child can purchase as many bags as they'd like. It's lightly buttered, salted, and tastes great!

If you borrow clothes from the clinic...

Please wash and return clothes borrowed from the school clinic.

Lost and Found

Please make sure to label your student's name on their lunchboxes, coats, and water bottles.

Water Bottles

Please don't forget to send your student with a water bottle for class. The filling stations and drinking fountains are open.
