Hey Strongsville Community!
I’m thrilled to share that our upcoming Community Tailgate will be on September 6, 2024, from 5 PM to 6:30 PM! This is a fantastic opportunity to gather, celebrate, and unite as one to help the Mustangs take on the Berea-Midpark Titans!
Best of all, the tailgate is completely FREE! Enjoy delicious food and snacks provided by around 40 local businesses and our high school athletic programs, all set up at their tables just for you. There will also be fun games for everyone to participate in, making it a lively and engaging atmosphere!
We’re also excited to announce that the student-run Mustang Derby will be there selling Mustangs apparel! This is a great chance to show your team spirit and pick up some awesome gear.
Join us as we cheer on our incredible football team, support our talented cheerleaders, and enjoy the amazing performances by the band on our community's biggest stage. The return of Friday Night Lights is something we all look forward to, and this tailgate is the perfect way to kick off an exciting night!

Lunch Pin Practice
As we continue to foster a smooth and efficient lunchtime experience for our students, I want to highlight the importance of your child learning their 6-digit lunch PIN. This PIN not only helps streamline the lunch line but also plays a key role in ensuring that each student can quickly access their lunch account. Their 6-digit PIN can be located on your PowerSchools account.
The lunch PIN is the same as your child’s student account number, which they use to sign in to their Chromebooks. It is essential for them to memorize this number, as it will stay with them throughout their school years and until graduation.
To support your child in mastering their lunch PIN, I encourage you to practice it at home, just as you would with a spelling test. You can turn it into a fun activity by quizzing them or creating flashcards. Regular practice will help them feel more confident and prepared when it’s time to use their PIN in the lunch line.
Thank you for your support in helping your child succeed. Together, we can make lunchtime a more efficient and enjoyable experience for everyone!

NEW Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
The car line has been moved back to the original design for the upcoming school year. The primary reason for this change has to do with safety concerns. Last year's car line looped around the visitor's parking lot and cut through a couple of crosswalks that families take to get to the main entrance. Without formal crossing guards, everybody needed to remain on high alert.
We're moving to a model that will greatly reduce the risk of a pedestrian related accident. Myself and a small committee of adult supports will be out there during the first few weeks to support the flow and communicate any necessary adjustments from the plan. Once we secure the route, we plan on reducing adult support and adding formal signage.
