Principal's Updates
Dear Maple West Community,
It's hard to believe that we are entering the last week of October! As the weather begins to get cooler, please make sure to dress your child in appropriate clothing and footwear. Students will still be going outside for recess and PE as much as possible.
Rain Plan for MW Fall Parade - In the event of inclement weather the parade will be canceled. Students will parade around the hallways to show off their spirit wear and costumes to one another. Unfortunately we will not be able to accomodate families in the building during the indoor parade. We will send a WITS email on October 31st by 8:00 if the outdoor parade is canceled. Stay tuned...
Maple West Fall Parade
- Thursday, October 31st - starting at 9:15
- Students may come to school dressed in costumes or wearing MW Spirit gear, orange/green/white - please keep costume masks and/or props at home.
- Weather permitting, students will parade together outside starting at 9:15. Families are welcome to come and watch, but please do not enter the parking lot until 9:05 when buses depart.
- Spectators are asked to stand on the grass/periphery of the parking lots as students will be using the sidewalks.
