Magnificent Mustangs
Camerin took it upon herself to clean up the classroom before her class dismissed from my room. As the last class of the day, Camerin's class did not make the mess, but she wanted to be helpful and sweep the floor! It showed immense kindness and helped make dismissal easier. Camerin helped our classroom be cleaner and safer for all! Camerin's kind heart is so appreciated!
Kasen saw another classmate sweeping the floor and jumped into assist! He picked up trash and papers off the ground to help out! It showed kindest and integrity! Kasen helped make our classroom safer for all!
Jack was absent one day. The next day he came in and took it upon himself to ask his classmate about work he had missed the day before and get started on it without any prompting from the teacher. His responsibility helped get him caught up and made his teachers life easier!
Hunter helped two first graders by moderating their disagreement. Students were able to see an example of a big kid using the same skills that they are being taught about conflict resolution.
Gage made sure that another student was able to catch the football during Moss so that they would not feel left out. Students were able to see another student using inclusion. Our kindness video today talked about doing something right even though it might go against your cred.
Fran decided to better her school community by weeding on the playground during recess. Other students were able to see an example of kindness and gratitude in action.
Reese took initiative and asked if she could help me set up chairs for the Community Gathering. She also asked if she could take a certain staff member's water bottle to him b/c it was left on the stage. I couldn't have gotten all of it done myself before everyone got there!
First grade is learning to complete assignments on Schoology. Tyler has been quick to help students navigate the new learning platform when the teacher was working with a small group. This was helpful because the small group was able to keep working and the other student was able to get back to work.
After Lincoln finished his lunch, he offered to help Mr. Woodland clean up the cafeteria. Mr. Woodland was able to finish cleaning the cafeteria quickly. Also, Lincoln set a wonderful example for the first and fifth grade students on how to clean up after themselves.
Haleigh consistently shows great leadership skills in class. She is on task when completing assignments and frequently demonstrates appropriate voice levels. She will even hold up a zero to respectfully remind the class of the expected volume. It shows immense responsibility and integrity!
Allan consistently sets a positive example for others with his kindness and responsibility. Allan works to complete assignments in a timely manner and participates in class discussions. He also shows kindness towards his peers by helping them find assignments on Schoology. It sets a great example for all and helps our classroom to be a welcoming environment!
Macy decided to better our school community by pulling weeds on the playground during recess. Other students were able to see an example of kindness and gratitude in action.
