Here a few helpful tips for a strong review:
It doesn’t need to be long—2-3 sentences is plenty!
Be specific about your role in our community (e.g., parent/caregiver, grade, how many years you’ve been part of the community, etc.)
Write about your own personal experience interacting with teachers and staff members
Write about your child’s experience in and out of the classroom or personal/social/emotional growth
Write about the OLVCS community/culture

We have many volunteer opportunities throughout the school year.
We wanted to take time this spring to generate a list of volunteers for each of the events that make OLVCS the vibrant community it is.
- The only choices on the list in which you need clearances would be the Lunch Room/Recess volunteer and Homeroom Parent. (planning and preparation of an event does not involve direct supervision of or require being alone with children)
- Please review the available opportunities by clicking on the button below and indicate your interest on the google form by signing up for one or more activities.
- You may check as many as you like.
- You will be contacted by the appropriate point person once you have indicated your interest.

There will be a Eucharistic Procession on the feast of Corpus Christi.
- Directly following the Saturday, June 1st anticipated 5:00pm mass.
- All first communicants are invited to wear their First Communion Attire and march with the procession.
What is Corpus Christi?
Also known as the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, this feast honors Jesus Christ, Really, Truly and Substantially Present under the appearances of bread and wine. This Presence happens through the change which the Church calls transubstantiation (“change of substance”), when at the Consecration of the Mass, the priest says the words which Christ Himself pronounced over bread and wine, “This is My Body,” “This is the chalice of My Blood,” “Do this in remembrance of Me.”
