Repeated Information
Mystery Message - Attendance Bulletin Board
Throughout the month of April we are launching an attendance initiative. Regular attendance is crucial for student success, and we are excited to introduce a fun, school-wide incentive designed to encourage excitement about daily attendance in a playful and interactive way.
Each day, if 92% of students are in attendance at Washington School, we will reveal a letter of the Mystery Attendance Bulletin Board! Our goal is to uncover all 21 letters of our mystery message by the end of April! When we reveal the secret message, we will hold a school-wide celebration.
This interactive approach reinforces the importance of being present, but also sparks curiosity and teamwork as the school works together to unravel the mystery. Let the fun begin!
YEARBOOK Updates!
- WA students are invited to enter their art for our yearbook cover contest. Winners from each grade will be displayed on the front cover!

ART at WA
Students have been busy in the art room this first week back from Spring Break! Kindergarten students analyzed the art of Anna Blatman and used paint sticks to create a beautiful field of flowers. First grade has reviewed classifications of art work (portrait, landscape, still life), looked at many examples of landscape paintings, and started their own pattern landscape. Finally, second grade has begun a bubble letter name design project.
The art room is in need of disinfecting wipes and facial tissue, as our supply is out. Also, we are collecting paper towel tubes, toilet paper tubes, bread bag twists, twist ties, buttons, yarn and egg cartons for upcoming projects. Thank you for sharing your amazing young artists with me! - Sarah Duprey Rasner
