Eagle Updates Week of November 18 - November 22
Principal's Corner
Last Week Before Thanksgiving Break!
Be sure to be checking on your student's grades each week. You can do that through your HAC account. If you do not have this information, please call the front office and we can get you that information. As much as we would love to trust our children are always taking care of their school business, in reality they usually need a little encouragement from home!
Also, we love having students at the ballgames, however, please speak with your children regarding behavior at the games. Students attending games are to be in the arena watching the game, unless at the concession stand or using the restroom. Those who are repeatedly asked to stop roaming around, found in unauthorized areas, or exit the building will be asked to call a ride and go home. If this happens for more than one game, they may be asked to not return to ballgames. Thank you for your help!
We have so many things happening - be sure you scroll down and make note of the events, and things we need your help with!
It's always a great day to be a CMS Eagle!

Attendance Matters!
And a reminder that students are only allowed 5 notes to excuse absences each semester.
Once students reach four (4) unexcused absences per semester they can be referred to the court. Out of school suspension counts towards unexcused absences as well.
Cell Phone Free Schools!
We have purchased our Yondr pouches and will begin implementing them when we return from Christmas break. Many schools across Arkansas and the United States have adopted using pouches to secure student cell phones during the school day to increase student academic performance, and decrease the effects social media has on their mental health.
Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with our policies and FAQ's, Governor Sanders' initiative, and the Yondr pouch program.

Dress Code!
We have had a great start to the year regarding dress code. The students have been dressed appropriately and ready for learning! The illustration below really sums it up! Just remember, no pajama pants, track shorts, and headgear. And remember the dress code, as this applies to the school day AND school sponsored events - including football games and other sporting events.
Thank you!
