Welcome to the Early Learning Update, the OUSD newsletter for all of our Early Learning Programs: Learning Link, Preschools, and TK. Our goal is to provide information for families about events occuring in OUSD and the community.

29 - Street Safety Workshop, 5:00-6:00 @ OUSD Board Rooms

In partnership with the Orange Police Department, OUSD is providing workshops for families on street safety. Join us in the OUSD Board Rooms on either August 7 or 29 from 5:00-6:00pm. Workshops will be presented in English and Spanish at both sessions. English Flyer Spanish Flyer

Does your child attend the OUSD Child Development Center at 2345 E. Palmyra?

Please note that we will be closed on 8/19-8/20 for Professional Development.

August 21st is the first day of the new school year for all of our Early Learning Programs. Every preschool and TK student will receive a new Early Learning t-shirt, either at your site's "Round Up" or "Meet the Teacher" event or on the first day of school. We would love to see your kiddo in their shirt throughout OUSD!

We had over 100 families participate in our Summer Learning Link! We are excited to continue this fall!

The 2024-25 Learning Link Schedule will begin on August 26th. There are many locations and times to choose from. CLICK HERE for a flyer.

Please stay tuned to information from your site regarding Meet the Teacher or Back to School Night events. These are important ways you can engage with your child's education and a great way to model for your child the importance of school.
