Hello Woodsy Owls,
Hello Woodsy Owls,
I hope this message finds you well! It’s hard to believe how quickly the year is moving along, and I’m happy to share that things are going wonderfully at Sierra Hills Elementary School. Our students continue to learn, grow, and achieve great things every day.
This coming Monday marks the start of our final trimester of the school year. With that, report cards will be going home soon, providing an opportunity to celebrate progress and set new goals for the remainder of the year. Thursday and Friday of this week are early dismissal days as we have conferences for our wonderful Woodsy Owl Families.
We also have a special event coming up—our award assemblies on Friday, March 21st. These assemblies are a great way to recognize the hard work and achievements of our students. Families are warmly invited to join us in celebrating their success. We hope to see you there!
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in making Sierra Hills a wonderful place for learning.
Have a great week.
It truly takes a village.

Bootleggers' Ball

Meadow Vista Community Center, Meadow Vista Road, Meadow Vista, CA, USA
PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO COORDINATE RAFFLE GIFTS!
Last year our Auction for the Bootleggers Ball was a huge success thanks in part to the class items we received. We are hoping that the room parents and other family volunteers would like to participate again in donating an item or experience to our Auction.
I'm hoping the class parent or a parent can coordinate with the classroom teacher to create the items., either by getting people to donate a project or item, or by collecting money to create the raffle item.
Here is a list of some past items for inspiration.
Experiences - Principal for the Day, Movie Nights, Lego Party, Science Day, Paint Party
Class Items - Mosaic mirror, wheelbarrow art, owl art, kids portraits, classroom cookbook, framed art.
Parent items - photography, Starbucks basket, other parent donations
If you would like to coordinate this for your child's class, please contact the classroom teacher or the principal.
Huge Congratulations for our wonderful Kindergarten teacher, Ashley Rutledge. After working very hard in her evenings, weekends, and breaks from school, she has completed her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University. We are so lucky to have such a great staff of life-long learners who work so hard to make sure that they are at the top of their game.
Make sure you congratulate her when you see her!
