High Frequency Words
Lakeville Area Schools has compiled an updated list of High Frequency Words, which are words that appear most often in print. Recognizing high-frequency words with ease is crucial for students to develop into skilled readers.
Please scan the QR code or visit the bit/ly below to find out more about High Frequency Words and how you can help support at home.
Device Protection Deadline is October 18
Lakeville Area Schools offers an optional protection plan for student devices (iPads). Payment for device protection must be made by October 18, 2024.
Annual Cost: $25 per student. Reduced price options are available based on Educational Benefit Status.
Coverage begins upon receipt of the payment. Payment must be submitted via the Infinite Campus School Store by October 18 to have coverage for the school year. New families joining the district will have 2 weeks from enrollment to add coverage.
The protection plan does not cover lost devices and lost, stolen, damaged or inoperable charging cords.
Please review the details of the device protection plan and payment information on our Device Protection webpage.
MCA and EL ACCESS Results
We have received the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA) and EL ACCESS student results from the Minnesota Department of Education. If your child is in fourth or fifth grade this year, MCA test results will be sent home on Tuesday, September 24. If your child received English Learner support last year they will bring home the test results from the EL ACCESS testing on Tuesday, September 24. If you are new to Eastview this year, we are working on getting your child's test results and will send them home as soon as we receive them.
Crosswalk at Eastview
If you are picking up or dropping off your child during arrival or dismissal you are asked to walk them across the crosswalk. We have used this guideline for many years and it is about one thing - safety. Our student patrollers will be in place soon and having the parent/guardian walking their child across the crosswalk is another layer of safety.

Culver's Day!
Please help us support our 4th grade and Physical Education teams by eating at the Lakeville Culver's on Tuesday, October 1! Eastview earns 15% of all sales ALL DAY whether dining in or drive-thru; just remember to say, “I’m with Eastview.” If your family would like to attend but is unable due to finances, please contact Miss Vaughan and we will make it happen!
You can support EVE by stopping at Culver's any time they're open on October 1, but from 5:00-7:00 pm you may see some familiar faces! All proceeds raised on October 1 will go directly to the 4th grade and PE teams. A prize raffle will be held, so students, please stop by the EVE PTO table to register! If you're too full for custard after your kid's meal, you can donate your "Scoopie" token too!

If you need to pick your child up before our end-of-the-day dismissal, we are asking you to do this before 3:30 p.m. Due to heavy volume in the front office, we cannot check out students from 3:30-3:55 p.m due to capacity. We made this change to ensure we get each child where they need to be. We appreciate you picking up your child before 3:30 p.m. or at dismissal.
